Villa Lakeside is a beautiful three-bedroom retreat featuring a private swimming pool - heated on request for an additional weekly fee - nestled within the charming Lakeside Village area of the prestigious Quinta do Lago golf resort. Completely renovated, the property now showcases a pristine, contemporary style throughout. Its prime location places guests within an easy stroll of restaurants, bars, the peaceful Quinta do Lago lake, and the world-class Campus sports centre.

The sleek, modern kitchen comes fully fitted with an extensive selection of appliances, including a refrigerator, washing machine, dishwasher, three gas burners plus one electric hob, extractor fan, toaster, kettle, Nespresso machine, ice maker, juicer, blender, and microwave. A freezer and tumble dryer are situated in the separate annex. A sliding door links the kitchen to the dining area, which seats six and opens directly onto the pool terrace.
A short flight of steps from the entrance leads down to the living room, furnished with comfortable sofas, a feature fireplace, split-unit air conditioning, and a large flat-screen TV offering numerous English channels such as BBC, ITV, Sky Sports and TNT Sports. Glass doors provide direct access to the pool terrace and garden. Also on the entrance level is the first bedroom - a double room with air-conditioning, fitted wardrobes, and use of a separate shower room equipped with a heated towel rail.
The remaining bedrooms are located upstairs. Bedroom two is a twin room featuring air-conditioning, built-in wardrobes, a safe, and an en-suite shower room with a walk-in shower and heated towel rail. Patio doors open onto a shared upper terrace with lake views. Bedroom three, a double room, also benefits from air-conditioning, its own en-suite shower room with heated towel rail, and access to the same terrace.
Situated in a peaceful cul-de-sac, the villa is surrounded by beautifully maintained gardens with mature hedges, shrubs, and a manicured lawn. The main pool measures roughly 9m x 5m, with steps for easy access, and may be heated at extra cost. There is also a small children’s pool measuring about 2m x 2m, along with an outdoor shower. A pathway at the back of the garden leads directly toward the nearby lake, adding to the home’s tranquil atmosphere.
The generous poolside terrace offers six cushioned sun loungers and two parasols. A comfortable outdoor lounge area - complete with rattan sofas and armchairs—provides the perfect setting for reading or enjoying a drink in the sunshine. A gas barbecue and an outdoor dining table for six invite guests to enjoy leisurely meals in the open air.
A staircase inside the villa leads up to the roof terrace, where rattan seating provides an inviting spot to sit back and admire the impressive views of the Quinta do Lago lake.
Lakeside Village is known for its vibrant yet refined atmosphere and offers a variety of on-site facilities, including a communal pool, a children’s pool, and complimentary tennis courts (guests should bring their own rackets and balls). The neighbourhood is surrounded by activities and boasts three excellent restaurants nearby: The Shack, Casa do Lago, and Os Arcos.
Both Praia da Quinta do Lago and Praia do Ancão are only a short distance away. These lively beaches offer a selection of great restaurants and bars, along with a full range of water sports—such as banana boats, pedalos, kayaks, jet skis, surfing, parasailing, and water skiing. The area’s long stretches of golden sand and countless activities promise a fun-filled day by the sea. The nearby lake also provides opportunities for water-based recreation. Nature lovers will enjoy exploring the Ria Formosa Natural Reserve, famous for birdwatching, nature trails, and scenic cycling routes; bicycles can be hired locally.
For tennis players, The Campus offers multiple courts open to the public, with professional coaches available and flexible booking options ranging from single-hour sessions to weekly passes. The Campus also features a variety of spa treatments—including sports and deep-tissue massages—making it a fantastic destination for fitness, wellness, and relaxation.

General
Should you wish to rent a cot or high chair a charge is usually applicable (this varies so please ask for details). An extra bed can also be arranged (depending on the villa) and this is a supplementary weekly charge. Please reserve these items when making your accommodation booking.
