Algarve coastline to the south. It is within easy reach

The villa is situated between Portimão and Lagos,
just outside the village of Alcalar. It is less than 10
minutes drive to the Penina Meridien Hotel with its famous
golf courses, health club, restaurants and tennis courts.
There are three other excellent golf courses (Palmares,
Boa Vista and Golfe do Morango) all within 30 minutes
drive. The large market town of Portimão is within
15 minutes, with its marina, cinemas and shops. The attractive
old town of Lagos is also within 10 miles and the busy
resort of Alvor is even closer to the villa. Both Alvor
and Lagos have many superb sandy beaches and coves. There
are several local restaurants within walking distance,
e.g. Amadeus offering International cuisine, Fonte da
Pedra with its local specialities and also a shop/café
where you can buy essential items. The nearest town is
Mexilhoeira Grande approx 6km.
Upon arrival at the electric security gates of the
villa, there is a curving driveway which brings you
to the impressive front entrance of this elegant and
exceptionally spacious house. Through the marble hallway
into the beautiful and tastefully furnished drawing
room, with comfortable sofas, fireplace, piano and large
screen Satellite TV with DVD player. Light floods in
through the glass gallery above and four sets of patio
doors open out onto the covered dining terrace, with
glass and granite dining furniture to comfortably seat
18 people. The garden is completely secluded by trees

secure lockable gate to a small lake featuring a waterfall
and fountains surrounded by a walkway.
The stunning large kitchen is brand new with beautiful
cream units and black granite worktops, with all appliances
fully integrated. The 6 gas hob is housed in the central
island and there is a double electric oven and a double
fridge and freezer. There is a large dining table and
chairs and a separate utility room with washing machine
and a further fridge freezer.
There is also a separate dining room next to the kitchen, for your more formal dinner parties, with dining table and chairs and patio doors leading to another outside dining terrace.
On the lower ground floor there is a sitting room/games

stunning suite has a sitting room downstairs with sofa-bed

doors lead out to the main terrace and pool. There is
a spiral staircase up to the double bedroom with windows
all round offering panoramic views of the countryside
and Monchique mountains.
