HOTEL MARTINHAL
This new, beautifully designed boutique hotel has 38 luxury rooms
including two duplex Beach Suites, all of which enjoy spectacular
sea views. They also benefit from private balconies or terraces.
The main hotel building houses O Terraço, the fine dining
restaurant and cocktail bar located on the first floor with panoramic
views of Martinhal Bay.

VILAS MIMOSA
The 23 Vilas Mimosa on the North side of Martinhal Beach Resort
& Hotel are all spacious 2 or 3 bedroom houses with private
garden, views over the sea and the Port of Baleeira. There is
a Clubhouse that services all the houses with a 18m pool, as well
as a baby pool.

FOOD & BEVERAGE
Os Gambozinos – buzzy and relaxing café/ bistro featuring
a wood burning pizza oven, ideal for all the family. Offering a
full range of eating options from breakfast through to a late supper.
As Dunas – beach restaurant ‘with style’ overlooking
the sea. Open all day, this restaurant will offer everything from
coffee and pastries in the morning through to candle-light dining
in the evening. Specialising in fresh fish and seafood.
O Terraço – our fine dining restaurant, located on
the first floor of the Hotel with views overlooking Martinhal Bay.
This is a place to get dressed up and enjoy being ‘grown up’.
The food will be light but sophisticated, with a full range of Portuguese
wines on offer.
Oasis Pool Snack Bar is a family
orientated venue where parents and children can relax together.
The bar serves a delicious variety of sandwiches, savoury snacks
and sweets that can be ordered at the table, plus a range of hot
and cold drinks.
Club 98 Tennis and Sports Club have their own
stylish bar, which is located next to the swimming pool featuring
a range of healthy light meals and quality hot and cold snacks.
Guests can order at the bar or take advantage of the poolside
service.
Village Square Juice Bar A popular
meeting point for families and friends, the Village Square Juice
Bar is lively and animated and overlooks the resort’s main
pool area. The menu lists hot and cold drinks and an appetising
assortment of tasty snacks including panini sandwiches and savoury
nibbles, as well as cakes and pastries. And the children will
love the ice creams!
A select range of beers and wines is complemented by a healthy
choice of fresh fruit juices.

VILLAGE SQUARE
Characterised by a vibrant sense of community, the Square is the
resort’s entertainment hub. The focal point is the main reception
and concierge centre - this is where you will check-in and collect
your keys for the Village Houses, Private Villas and Villas Mimosa.
Here, friendly and informative staff can answer questions and offer
helpful advice about every aspect of the resort.
Some of Martinhal’s most exciting attractions can be found
in and around the Square and there is often evening entertainment
organised in the summer months. A central feature is the large,
inviting indoor and outdoor swimming pool. Toddlers have a small
pool of their own.
Nearby is a children’s playground and the BLUE ROOM
an indoor playroom for the older kids and teenagers featuring video
games consoles, computers and various other games including table
tennis. For keep-fit enthusiasts, a well-equipped gymnasium is housed
above the Square with sauna, steam rooms and jacuzzi.

Swimming Pools
There are five swimming pools set around the grounds of Martinhal
Beach Resort & Hotel. The Beach Club Pool is located just above
the beach and is sunk into a stylish wooden terrace. It overlooks
the Beach Club Garden and is served by its own bar.
Two swimming pools grace the Village Square and are ideal for families.
One generously sized pool spans indoors and outdoors. Adjacent is
another smaller pool designed for toddlers. A juice and snack bar
offers poolside service.
Youngsters in particular are drawn to the Oasis Pool, an imaginatively
designed beach entry free-form swimming pool that forms the centrepiece
of the Garden Houses area. The pool has its own bar facilities.
The resort’s fifth swimming pool forms part of Club 98, Martinhal’s
tennis and sports centre, and is popular with teenaged guests. A
dedicated bar offers a range of food and drink options. |
KIDS CLUB
Children between three months and eight years old can be looked
after at Raposinhos Kids Club and Crèche, In the Village
Square. A team of qualified child minders supervises both facilities
– with a ratio of 1:3 for the crèche and 1:5 for
Raposinhos. The club has lots of toys, games and puzzles to keep
minds occupied and there is a small children’s playground
in a sheltered, walled garden. Babysitting can also be organised.
Raposinhos kids club is open every day from 09h30
to 18h00, with outdoor surprises organised during the summer months.

Sports and Activities
Club 98 is the resort’s lively tennis and sports club. It
is equipped with two high-grade artificial grass tennis courts and
two glass-sided PADEL courts. It also has a swimming pool and an
adjacent multi-purpose sports field for hosting football and other
team events.
Windsurfing, kitesurfing,
skimming and kayaking activities can be booked at Club 98.
A fully equipped gymnasium is located in the Village Square.
The resort’s Beach Club Garden, positioned just above Martinhal
beach, is where guests can hire equipment for windsurfing and other
watersports. Martinhal Bay is renowned for its off-shore breeze
and is a perfect place to Martinhal Bay is ideal for watersports,
and the water is safe for swimming and paddling.
Sports fishing trips can be organised and scuba-diving expeditions
arranged. Surfing and body-boarding are favourite pastimes.
Leisurely bicycle tours can be undertaken; the
more adventurous can grab a mountain bike. Horse riding and pony
trekking tours explore off the beaten track.

'Finisterra' SPA
Positioned in its own secluded grounds, the spa adds an extra
dimension of health and vitality to the guest experience arranged
around a private indoor garden the ambience is one of privacy
and seclusion.
There are a range of massages and treatments that
can be booked and these are complemented by a sauna and steam

Home Delivery
Meals delivered to your door! Breakfasts, lunches and dinners can
be ordered in advance from Mercado, the resort’s gourmet village
store.
Prepared using ingredients of the highest quality and freshness,
the food is based on genuine Portuguese recipes using produce sourced
locally and from around the country.
Menus change daily and are based on seasonal availability.
Mercado (is the resort's gourmet mini market) can
also offer international cuisine – Indian and Chinese dishes,
and home made pizzas – plus sushi and sashimi. An excellent
selection of Portuguese wines complements each menu. |
